Artist Camilo Arias Illustration Profile

Camilo Arias is a Colombian Visual Artist who has spent more than a decade traveling the globe, showcasing his vivid and dynamic works in solo and group exhibitions in countries such as France, the USA, and notably, Egypt, where he participated in the Cairo Biennale 2022. Additionally, he has left his mark through captivating wall paintings in places such as Panama, Iceland, Spain, and Egypt.

His journey is a testament to the resilience art can inspire. Emerging from the depths of the Colombian armed conflict, Camilo found solace in art, using it to transcend his traumatic past despite being abandoned by his parents and facing a violent childhood.

This artistic odyssey is seamlessly intertwined with his academic background in cinema and 3D animation, supported by an audiovisual media degree and international accreditation.

Camilo's journey stands as a powerful testament to art's transformative potential, enabling individuals to create new opportunities and overcome adversity. He shares this message through his Artworkshops, inspiring others with his story.
